Hajime Kato

Hajime Kato was born in 1984 in Japan's Kanagawa prefecture. He completed a university degree in photography and studied photography under famous Japanese photographer Yoichiro Nishimura. Before becoming independent in 2009, he was involved in various photography projects all across Japan. Currently, Hajime works a freelance project manager, doing photography for various media, involved from the planning phase to execution of many art projects and mid to long-term "artist in residence" projects. Projects he was involved in include "PARADISE AIR," "Tokyo Art Book Fair,"Yokohama Triennial," "Slow Level," and so on.
